Foundation Shades

What if one bottle could give you the flexibility to create light, medium or full coverage depending on your skin’s needs at any given time? With Dermablend’s new Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments, you have control over your complexion.

Packed with an unprecedented concentration of 33% pigments, Flawless Creator represents a new kind of makeup that lets you decide the level of coverage. Use one drop for a touch of color that effortlessly evens out skin tone—or as many as four for complete coverage. Flawless Creator can also be mixed into any skin care product (including moisturizers, sunscreen or serums), and you can also adjust the finish by blending the drops with a primer like Dermablend Insta-Grip Jelly Primer or Poresaver Matte Makeup Primer for Oily Skin.

Featuring 20 shades that span the skin-tone spectrum and with the Dermablend Setting Powder providing smudge- and transfer-resistant buildable color, these drops are ideal for all skin types (including sensitive and blemish-prone). With a weightless, water-free, oil-free, non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and vegan formula, Flawless Creator is the only complexion-correction product you need.

Finding the right shade is everything when it comes to complexion perfection, but shopping doesn’t have to be stressful. Here are our tips that can help you zero in on the perfect color match.

How to Find Your Shade:

Step One: Find Your Shade Family

Identify the skin tone closest to yours. Are you fair, light, medium, tan or deep? The shades range from 0 (fairest shade) to 90 (deepest shade). Identify your shade family and this will indicate what shade family number is best for you (fair 0-20, light 20-30, medium 30-45, tan 45-70, deep 70-90)

Dermablend: Identify Shade Family

Step two: Identify Your Undertone

Are you cool (C), neutral (N) or warm (W)? Here’s how to find out:

  • If the veins on your wrist are slightly green or olive and gold jewelry flatters your skin more than silver – you have a warm (W) undertone.
  • If the veins on your wrist are blue-green and gold and silver jewelry flatters your skin – you have a neutral (N) undertone.
  • if the veins on your wrist are blue or purple and silver jewelry flatters your skin more than gold – you have a cool (C) undertone.

Step Three: Find Your Shade

Navigate your shade family (fair, light, medium, tan or deep) and look for any shades with your undertone (c, n, w). Select the combination of shade family number and undertone letter that appears to best match to you. If in doubt go to the lighter of the two shades.
